As I don't yet see this as "confirmed" but rather, I'm seeing words like "close", this will not be reported in the stickied thread.

I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

For a guy who was DFA's/Non-tendered/whatever, this would be a nice pull.

    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12

Is it really? Ramos has a .280 OBP in AAA as of today. He is slugging .345.

I'll wait for Chuck Norris to confirm.

I think the fact that he is "blocked" bu Mauer has artificially raised his prospect status. Kinda like how everyone thought that Scottie Pippen was the second best player in the NBA just because he was the second best player on the team that had Jordan.

Ramos doesn't project to be an amazing catcher, but for Matt Capps, I think the Nats did well landing BA's 58th best prospect before the start of 2010.

Ramos should at least be an average catcher/major leaguer with the potential of being above average.
