Caught an episode of Match Game '74 today and was shocked to see Richard Dawson smoking a cigarette on-air as the game was played. He had his ash tray sitting right there and would occasionally take a drag.

Contrast that with today, when smoking is listed as part of the parental warnings for movies, right alongside with sex, profanity, and violence. Times have changed.

Help stamp out, eliminate, and do away with redundancy.

You and me both. How can you NOT love a show where you feel sad to see someone lose $10,000, but seeing a funny cartoon character pop up makes you kinda glad that he did?
I LOVE Press Your Luck! That was definitely one of my favorite game shows right up there with The Price is Right and $25,000 Pyramid. Those whammies always cracked me up even though I did feel kind of bad for the contestants when they lost all that money.

As a young kid I loved Double Dare which I believe was on Nikelodeon. That was a fun show and I loved watching the contestants get all messy and gross during the challenges.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
