Good to see Votto back in the lineup.

I like the lineup and I'm VERY glad Joey is back in there!

Heisey 2? Janish 8? The catcher batting higher than 8th?

I think my head might explode.

For those of you who are out of the blackout area, the game is televised on DirecTV channel 721-1 for HD.

another day w/o Stubbs. I'm starting to believe that when Dickerson gets back (I believe they mentioned last night that he had a death in the family recently and were surprised he even played in AAA last night, but thought he was heading back to Cali for a few days to honor the deceased) that Stubbs will be sent down to AAA. That in turn makes me wonder if Bruce is about to lose his everyday status to Heisey once Dickerson is back.

Reds have to figure out this outfield thing before the Cardinal series. So I agree that Dickerson could be with the team in Chicago to see how he does.

Right now the only outfielder hitting is Heisey. So he should be out there every day. The other two spots are up for grabs and the Reds need to make some decisions in the next few days.

I like this lineup. Just think when Rolen's in it tomorrow we have:

    Phillips 2B
    Heisey CF
    Votto 1B
    Rolen 3B
    Gomes LF
Nix or Bruce, one has to wonder if this is just a one-day move RF
    Hernandez or Hanigan C
Janish or Cabrera when he gets back, hopefully he still bats 8th SS
    Pitcher P

    I like it. A lot.

Hernandez can probably handle it, but the Reds have the older of their two catchers playing a noon-ish game following a late night game. Does he usually catch Cueto and Volquez?

He's almost been as hot as Nix. Almost.

I think we just need a 5 spot in the 1st, just to show them we are serious and then let Cueto coast from there

I actually like this lineup a lot.

And I fully expect Stubbs to be sent down when Dickerson is called up. It seems as if Dusty has lost all faith in him. Not only has he not started the last four games, he hasn't even played.

There is a day off tomorrow so that should take some of the sting out of it.
