Bedard to have shoulder surgery, sometimes best trades are the ones that aren't made!

This couldn't be more true. Per MLB network, Erik Bedard to have third shoulder surgery in three years.

Sure glad Reds didn't trade for him!

I remember Reds fans wanting to trade Cueto, Bruce and Bailey for him.

Also I remember when people wanted to trade Cueto and Votto for Blanton

I remember the same thing, I guess that's why you have to take most of these opinions with a grain of salt.

Everyone around Seattle knew it was the dumbest trade at the time. Yet, the REDS go and hire the guy responsible for the mess that Seattle is in right now to be an "advisor" to Walt. Nice job, Castellini. Quit hiring your friends.

Thank goodness Krivsky did not trade away our future for Bedard. I remember many fans wanted the Reds to trade a combination of Votto, Bailey, Cueto, etc for him in the offseason prior to the 2008 season.
