    hunt for red october..

    I was looking at the hunt for october on espn's mlb homepage and if the season ended today we would be playing the padres at san diego in the nlds.

    how do you think we would do against them? It would be a hard series for sure. thoughts?

    Off the top of my head I'd rather face the NL potential opponents in this order:


    But yes in the NLDS and NLCS all games are potentially "tough".

    I hate the travel to the West coast, but I like our offense over their offense.
    Their starting pitching is better, their top 3 is better than our top 3. But I like our ability to throw out 5 guys that can win.
    I like our bullpen now... now.

    But I see us losing in 5 b/c of home field advantage. Unless our outfield can pick it up.

    And Yes Dusty Haters, that means he is here for another year. So you have another year to complain about him.

    Look I don't give a frog's fat ass who we play as long as we get in, we are winning the series' that we are playing in, and if you win series' you win it all!
