I actually don't do condiments. IE, on a burger, it's just burger, cheese (and only provolone or swiss cheese), and bun. Yes I'm very picky.

I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

If I get a burger from a fast food joint I dont care whats on it, but if I'm making it at home I rarely put ketchup or mustard on it.

    cheese and some mayo.

Hey Mods, I was at Burger King and asked for a cheeseburger with extra mustard....but they only put the regular amount of mustard on it.

Can I start up a thread about that, pretty please.

I like to cook seasonings into the meat, therefore I'm the same way. I rarely add anything but cheese to my own burgers.

I was jinxed by this thread.

Went to Gold Star a couple nights ago, ordered a 4 way with beans, and got a five way. I also ordered a Mountain Dew, and I got Diet Mountain Dew.

I was jinxed by this thread.

Went to Gold Star a couple nights ago and ordered a 4-way with beans, and got a 5-way. I also ordered a Mountain Dew, and got Diet Mountain Dew. I hate Diet Mountain Dew so much, almost as much as I hate onions...

A1 = best condiment, imo, followed closely by hot sauce (prefer all flavors of Cholula) and a nice, fresh salsa.

I love mustard too...especially nice spicy mustard

My wife and I have a running battle as to what kind of mustard is best.

She is a French's classic yellow mustard only gal. I'm a brown spicy mustard of all varieties guy.

Whenever I set the table, I put both out. When she sets it, she only puts the yellow on the table. Is this grounds for divorce?

My wife and I are the same way. I love whole grain stone ground mustard. She will eat nothing but French's yellow.

There is room for both. I prefer Plochman's though for my mild yellow needs. I won't touch honey mustard and feel that it should be banned from sandwich preparation.

People who eat honey mustard on anything but chicken tenders are not true Americans, same as people who eat ketchup on hot dogs.

Yeah, honey mustard ain't mustard. I'm a big fan of the horseradish mustard though.

I'll eat yellow mustard in a pinch. Upon occasion, I'll eat a white bread/baloney/american "cheese" sandwich and yellow mustard fits there. Or at the ballpark if the brown mustard dispenser is empty, I'll do yellow. But my wife treats brown mustard like its battery acid.

I do like how they put mustard on a coney bun with that little metal rod thingy. It dispenses just the right amount of mustard.

What I used to hate was when my kids ordered cheese hot dogs at Gold Star/Skyline (cheese sprinkled on a hot dog) and I paid coney prices. I felt like asking for the chili in a little container to take home.
