Put Heisey in place of Nix and I'd like that line up

4 pitch walk to Fukodome. Volquez's control starts way off.

Anemic first, but eight more to go. Wonder why Nix is in there? Is he especially good against this pitcher or what?

I'm anxious to see what a few days off does for Stubbs.

I have little faith in Volquez. It takes awhile to get over that surgery. My guess is that he'll be less than great this season.

He's been a hitting machine over the last few weeks.

Castro grounds in front of the plate. Hernandez throws him out on a very close play. Runner on 2nd with 1 out.
