I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou
I can't believe they scored that a triple! That was an error for sure.
Hit another one out Joey!!

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!
Loving 11 runs on a Sunday
Official scorers proving yet again that errors and fielding percentage are as garbage a stat as it gets.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

It's nervous time ...
He could have gone more today, pitchwise. If he escapes that jam there, he could go 8 or 9 and save the pen for the biggest series in the last 10 years. Its not like you're overusing him, pitchers should expect to go at least 100 pitches every game, or they're not getting the job done, unless they throw a complete game before they reach that.
