Amazing performance. He is now at 115 pitches heading to the 9th.
2 more to go...
Ouch -- still one heck of a day for Morrow. How many times has that been for the Rays? So weird that one of the best teams in baseball has been on the wrong end of these.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
Oh so close. Hill got to the ball but it kicked off his glove. Great start by Morrow. IIRC, he carried a no-no into the 8th inning with the Mariners a couple years ago. His stuff is filthy.
Just got the CGSO on strikeout #17. Still one of the more impressive games you'll see -- I wonder what the game score looks like. 136 pitches...

In the hypothetical event that a certain Reds pitcher is throwing one of 'these', can we all agree not to start a thread for it? Call me superstitious, but I think it gives us our best chance of it happening.
