    Chris Dickerson...thanks for the service you've given us.

    Tough luck with those injuries.

    You got screwed by Baker with Taveras and Patterson. I wish you a lot of luck.

    You've brought us a piece in Edmonds that gives us a good chance to win, and who's less likely to slump during August, September and October, and with Bruce and Stubbs here, we can't afford to have another person who could potentially get in a slump.

    Dickerson needs a different Manager than Baker.

    Chris should have a nice career as a solid 4th OF, and draw a nice pension down the road. He might even be a starter for a couple years.

    He'll be fine.

    I'm sure his injuries and the fact that he mouthed off about playing time had as much to do with this as anything. The Reds brass either didn't like him, didn't think they could count on him or just didn't think he was better than what they have.

    In cases like that a trade is about the only option - and Edmonds should be a solid pick-up.

    Yep, he never would have started for the Reds whether fair or not.
