At the beginning of the season, I wouldn't have been surprised to read that...not at all. But after the first half they had...I'm freaking STUNNED by the turnaround they've pulled here. Great, GREAT stuff.

In Jax, Negron led off game with homer. Next time up he scored from 2b on errant pickoff. Catcher kicked him in head. Next time up they PH for him and I no longer see him on bench.

Catcher might get plunked. He's up now.

    Edit he did not

    The DSL Reds were swept, 7-6 and 3-2. The only notable performance was LHP Wandy Peralta (19): 5 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 6 K . . . ERA 2.38.

    Josh Ravin was lights-out for Lynchburg tonight: 6 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 K. The Hillcats lead 6-0 in the eighth.

Justin Reed is back in Dayton, leading off and 2 for 2.

Now I see that Satterwhite pinch-hit for him in the sixth. Don't know what his deal is.

Lynchburg won 6-1 behind Ravin's great start. Soto hit his 18th.

Andrew Means is now with the Hillcats.
