    Yep.

My better half travels out west regularly for work. Never underestimate what a 4+ hour cross-country / cross multiple time zone trip does to a body. It's brutal going out, and brutal coming back.

The luck of the draw has them hitting the shorter jaunt to Arizona and a bad Dbacks team first. Maybe they can get their sea legs under them and then make some hay with SF and LA. Win two series, lose one would be fine with me.

Fact is when they hit the coast they spend more time hitting the town and assorted attractions all day too. It's been a tradition since the NYC boys flew west. The weather is good, there's famous sites, beaches, boardwalks, lotsa stuff on the coast to do with a pocketful of cash and a free day.

I think the Reds can handle Dbacks/LA just fine and when SF came to Cincinnati the Reds did well against them..
It wasn't pretty... But its still 6-3

While the easy win would have saved a lot of elevated heart beats, I tend to think that winning the game in the end might just have a bigger psychological effect on the team. Of course, they would be on their way home by now....

I'm pretty much speechless from today's game, but all in all, I guess I have to be pretty happy with a 6-3 trip despite how the final three games turned out. Boy did the Reds dodge one today, though.

And lastly, an off day tomorrow probably couldn't come at a better time all year (maybe except for the off day after the Cardinals series). Let's hope this team is ready to get back out there Friday night.

Luckily the Reds have gotten their fill of Arizona since they do spring training there. Hopefully, none of them had the urge to revisit a spring training hookup.

    6-3! Style points be durned!

    6-3!

Left one game up, coming back at least 2 1/2 up and maybe a tad more?

Yes, please. Even with the horror that was bleeding away a 10-1 lead today. Past Reds teams don't find a way to pull that out.

    6-3!

I would've considered 5-4 a success... 6-3 is like getting a better bike than the one you'd asked for under the Christmas tree...
