    K (called)
    3 out
    Top of 2nd over
    Reynolds up

    2-0, Diamondbacks

Leadoff single, and we leave him stranded at 1st. Ridiculous.

He's keeping the ball down in the zone with 91-93 MPH velocity. Nothing fancy, just hitting his spots. The Reds should still be better prepared than this. Every hitter has been completely off balance against this kid.

The kid is very good. Great location, good stuff.

In fairness, seeing a scouting report and facing a guy for the first time are two completely different things.

New pitcher, first time through the order, means nothing.

If the Reds can't adjust next time through, then we can start complaining. I know I will.

It looks like Arroyo's curve is working. Or am I just buying into what Welsh is saying?

BTW, while he still makes a lot of mistakes, I think Keels has improved a good bit since the start of the year.
