Yeah, I fell asleep watching the game when it was 7-3 D-Backs. Woke up in 8th inning to pee, and saw it was 7-7. I have Time Warner, so I can rewind what I'm viewing..........saw how they tied it up. Came back from the bathroom and the Reds tore it up in the 9th..........awesome. Fell asleep before the bottom of the 9th, but knew they'd hold on.

Glad Joey is back, can't believe Gomes over Heisey after getting pulled last night. I guess it really wasn't anything more than a regular double switch. We should learn how far Jay has come tonight against a lefty.

I guess Heisey just isnt vet enough.

I know the splits against LH pitching favor Gomes, but so much of that has to do with limited ABs by Heisey.
I've about had it with Gomes, he just continues to let down game after game. Perhaps when Cabrera is back, Gomes will be the one to hit the road?

Gomes will probably hit 2 homers today just to solidify his spot in the starting lineup for the next month.
Dusty has a tendency to send someone back out there after a bad game to give them a chance to redeem it and put it behind them.
Not saying I agree with that philosophy, but I think that's the reasoning behind it.
