Lou is loved here where I live now and will always be loved in Reds country too. My second favorite Reds manager ever - behind Sparky of course. Best of luck, Lou!

The cubs are such a train wreck. Bye Lou, thanks for the cubs going 0-6 in the playoffs under your management!

Well, I know this won't be popular, but I hope the Cubbies get a win for Lou in his last game.

Goodbye Lou, this family will miss you.

I think it's clear that Lou has lost his spark as a manager, at least he knows when to get out of the game.

I like Lou. And the greatest manager in the world couldn't save the Cubs right now. Not his fault. Poor upper management decisions.

I think it would be hilarious if with 2 outs in the 9th, he came out and argued a call with a wink in his eye and the umpires played along and ejected him. Then Lou could go around and throw all the bases. That would be funny, funny stuff.

    Best of luck, Lou.

Loved you as a Minor League player.

Loved you as a Major League player.

Loved you as the Mariner's Manager.

Loved you as the REDS' Manager (only World Championship since the Big Red Machine, and you did it in style with a sweep of the A's).

Loved all of the passion and heart you had for the game.

We'll miss you Lou. Wish you could have been in Cincy longer to lead us to more championships but know you had to get away from Marge. Loved you also when you were with the Yankees. Best Wishes.
