Very good article. I think if the Reds hold on and make the playoffs this year Bob Cast and Co. will find that you can make alot of money in this city owning the Reds. I won't be shocked if they average 30,000 a game next year if they are competitive (after a playoff berth this year).

Cincinnati is and always will be a baseball town.

Great read, thanks for sharing the link. The Reds are the talk of the town again in Cincinnati. Normally by this time of year the sports talk radio shows are heavily focused on the Bengals. Not this year, and that is a welcomed change. It's great to have meaningful games in late August and September and have a team to cheer for with a lot of potential.

A beautiful city that remembers its past. If this team can pull of the unlikely, a WS championship, these players will be heroes forever. I would be willing to bet The Nasty Boys, ED, Browning and the rest of the bunch still don't have to buy their own beer any time they are in Cincy.
What if this is as good as it gets?
