Great article! I especially love the part I quoted below. I love that Joey is talking more often now.

“I respect the people who came before me,” Votto said on the phone the other day. “It means a lot to play for the original team.”
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

    Good article.

If there has been a downside at all so far this year, it's that Reds' schedule was front-loaded with home games, and I think it is only recently that most people in town have really started to get into this team. Would have been nice to have a few more nice, long homestands in July and August. Now, summer is almost over, but hopefully people will still go down and support them.

I would think that aveerage atttendence over the last 10-12 games is probably over 30 thousand. Not exactly where we need to be but things are looking up.
