I am assuming since nobody has posted, there is no news, but how we lookin with Cisco? Anyone know?
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......
April 28, 2006.
There isnt much else to go on from what I have seen on twitter.
That Cisco quote by Miller seriously is basically it.
Jim Callis thinks Cisco does sign according to his latest tweet to OBM.
Not that it's surprising at all, but I did see on a Texas web site that 49th rounder Tant Shepherd is returning for his senior year.
Aww I was hoping to have a guy name Tant and Pfister in the minor league system.
someone on Twitter says Cisco signed for 975k
First tweet i've seen of it so dont take it for fact yet but still its something.
#Wando standout pitcher Drew Cisco signed with the Cincinnati #Reds today. $975,000.

That would put it at the high end of what I guessed he would sign for (I said between $750K & $1M). Lets see how I fare on Grandal.

Former Wando High School pitcher Drew Cisco signed with the Cincinnati Reds today, just hours ahead of the midnight deadline drafted players had to sign with Major League Baseball teams.
Cisco, a 6-1, 190-pound right-hander, signed for $975,000.

Like I had posted earlier. He was asking for 1.2 Mil the Reds were offering 650K. Sounds like they met in the middle and kept it under the 1 Mil mark. That being said, 3 excellent HS arms (all starters) taken 6th, 7th and 8th rounds and got them all signed. Excellent work.
Good find.
Very glad to see that signing was true.
Cisco is a huge signing. Now the Reds need to sign Grandal. Any word on any other Reds picks possibly signing by the deadline? Who else should the Reds try to sign?
