    However, he was pulled after 6 2/3 - threw 111 pitches.

    Still no batted safeties allowed.

    Kevin Slowey got pulled from a no-hitter about a week before too. Same situation, too many pitches.

    Threw 111 pitches in his first start back from the DL. Sweet.
