I cant even believe that a person can throw a 105 MPH fastball.

    From Ed Price:

Aroldis Chapman tonight hit 105 mph and "sat at" 103, with a 90-91 slider. Scout: "best fastball I have ever witnessed" #reds

chapman's SLIDER apparently sits around 90-91

Tigers have the fastest average FASTBALL for a team at 92.5 MPH
Brewers have the lowest at 89.8 MPH

So yea just let that sink in for a second.

Kyle Lotzkar has dominated in each of his first two starts with Billings. His final line tonight: 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 7 K. He's now thrown 10 shutout innings with 1 BB/16 K in his first two starts with Billings. It should be pointed out that Lotzkar is still only 20 years old even though it feels like he's been around forever. He had filthy stuff before Tommy John Surgery, and it appears it's returning.

Billy Hamilton is 1-for-2 and has stolen his 34th base. Yorman Rodriguez is 0-for-1 with a walk.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

Yorman's hit drove in Jefry Sierra to break the 0-0 tie in the sixth.

Thompson went three innings: one hit, one walk, four strikeouts.

Vidal tripled, Maddox singled him in, Grandal followed with a single. 1-0. Meanwhile, it's the fourth inning and Torreyes is still hitless.

The Billings announcer gets the award for line of the night. "Orem hasn't even gotten to second base tonight. It's like a 6th grade party."

Billings still up 1-0, middle 8th.
