Congrats to Sapp.
Congrats to Sapp.
Absolutely totally awesome! Not enough words to describe how glad I am for him.
Despite the Mudcats' record the past two years, we have had the Southern League Pitcher and Player of the Year.
I was about to throw Travis Wood's name out there as well.
Yes sir. Then, if I am correct, which I usually am, Gaby Sanchez was the Souther League POTY in 08, so back-to-back-to-back years which the Mudcats have had a player win a big award.
Without looking, when was the last time the Mudcats had back to back MVPs before the current run...without looking? Who were they?
No idea. I'm not even going to try.
Hanley nor Beckett played for the Mudcats.
It has to be the Pittsburgh years but maybe the Rockies.
Jennings and Pierre?
I know the answer, but it's only because I read an article just a couple days ago.
edit:
Oops. I misunderstood the question. I have no idea.

Might have been back in the day with Kendell and Jason Young
1995 Jason Kendall C
1994 Mark Johnson 1B
Both with Pittsburgh
Dang, I forgot about Johnson, he had a great season with the Mudcats. i got half of it right with Kendell.
