My Grandfather used to refer to the city as "Cincinna-tuh." Never understood why he pronounced it like that, but it stuck with me.

I'm partial to Porkopolis myself. I've even used it as a screen name on several sites. I love The Queen City as well but since Charlotte also uses that one it leaves folks open to confusion.
That's what a lot of folks around here call it. I just call it Cincinnati. I'm an out of towner so I don't think I count anyway.

That's cool to know. I'd heard the story before, but couldn't remember. Just love the name, "Cincinnatus".
My wife is from Texas and refers to Cincinnati Chili as 'Stinky Nasty Chili'. I have no idea why she isn't my ex-wife with an attitude like that. I get those Blue Cincinnati Chili packages from Kroger's (about the best one can do in Houston) and make it as often as possible. I'm wearing her down - slowly.
