Well, we're down to five games on the Mudcat's schedule. The guys finish the road trip tonight in Birmingham and head home for the final four game home stand of the year against Tennessee. Tennessee is 12.5 games up on Carolina and in first place.

Tonight Daryl Thompson will see if he can get through three innings as the Mudcats starter. He's had a very difficult time with being overcome by heat this year in several of his starts and has had to leave the game early. His 0-4 record isn't very impressive but his ERA of 3.38 is very respectable. Game time 8:05.
