The AL playoff picture has just been finalized. The Yankees and Twins both lost today.
Tampa Bay wins the East and the Yankees are the wild card. Tampa Bay has home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
The matchups will be Tampa Bay against Texas and New York against Minnesota.
Crazy. If SD wins, Reds have to wait til outcome of Tuesday game to know where they go.
That either means a trip to Philly for a Wednesday game or a trip to the west coast for SD or SF on Thursday.
