Cards have scored three already at Wrigley. 3-0 top of the second.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

The Cards have taken a 3-0 lead after one. Allen Craig hit a 3 run HR in the 1st.

Cards are up 6-1 in the top of the 5th. This Cubs line-up is just dreadful.

Sacks are jammed for the Redbirds with one out in the 5th. No question, we need to just take care of our business and wrap this thing up. Cubs are changing pitchers, Berg coming in.

I have a feeling the Reds will need to sweep the Padres this weekend if they want to clinch it before they get home.

Pick up one more run, 7-1 and it's actually just the middle of the 4th. My bad.

Still 7-1 in the middle of the 5th.

And end of the 5th, same score. Cubs are bums.

It maybe a nail bitter if the Reds don't win at least 1 in San Diego. Sometimes panics sets in when teams get a little pressure on them.

Still 7-1 at the end of 7 innings. Ugh, this Cubs team is just awful.

Let's put it this way. I am the biggest worrier on this board, and if you knew me you would concur. I was worried last week, and I was worried until this team took the first two against the Brewers.

But, that is no longer the case. They don't have to win a single game in San Diego, either. Although, it would be nice to win all three.

13-6 this month, they'll win 2 out of 3 and relish drowning the Cards chances

So true. For as great of pleasure as the Cubs take in sucking, they take greater pleasure in not sucking when it means beating the Cardinals.

That is what makes them so lovable, I think.

WOY, thanks for giving me the recent history. I hadn't really looked what they've done, but this particular line-up today seems to be filled with light hitters.

Game over, Cardinals win 7-1. Time for us to take care of business.
