The Reds win 91 games, win their division, and what's the reward? Reds have to travel to Philadelphina to play the best team in baseball all because of some stupid rule that says two teams in the same division can't play each other in the LDS. That's a stupid rule, IMO.

I don't know if it's bad going to Philly in the first round vs. the second. One positive way to look at it is that we only have to win three games instead of four. Upsets happen more frequently in five game series. Win one of the first two games.

Pitching matchups for the Philly series will look like this:

    Game 1: Volquez vs Halladay
    Game 2: Arroyo vs Oswalt
    Game 3: Cueto vs Hamels

I'm more concerned with the game time for our first home game next Sunday.

That we may not know right away. Since there are potentially 4 games that day sometimes they will not announce the weekend games at first or they may change depending on if all the AL series are still going on that day.

It is a stupid rule...but the Bengals fan in me wishes the NFL had it, at least in 2005

Bring on the Phillies. This is the playoffs, let's enjoy it. Plus, who doesn't like an underdog?
