Louisville has tied the game 3-3 in the sixth and is continuing to rally. Columbus is losing 9-0.

Kid has to be wore out by now, he's played over a 100 games as a high school junior against 20 to 22 year olds....

Glad to see him step up today and rake though...I think he if hits and plays D in spring training he might very well start in Dayton next year.

Cody Puckett and Chris McMurray drove in runs in the seventh to pull Carolina even at 2-2. James Avery went six innings in a good start, striking out six.

Sliding Billy singles, steals, scores on a hit by Lohman. Billings trails 2-1 after six, in spite of outhitting Great Falls 7-2. Tanner Robles pitching nicely again.

Intrigued more and more by Avery. Anxious to see how he does in the AFL.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Mth, you'll probably remember that a couple of years ago it was Avery and Jordan Smith that got invited, somewhat surprisingly, to spring training. I like what's happening with Smith and hope for a similar result with Avery. I wonder if one similarity is the pretty good GO/FO ratio for Avery. Not quite as good as Smith's, but very solid.

Billy Hamilton stole his 43rd bag of the season for Billings, Setting an all time season record. Congrats to him. I was really skeptical about his ability to get on base at all in Billings and I am sure I speak for most of us that I am extremely excited by the season he had and his arrival in Dayton next year.

Hamilton the biggest riser among Red prospects, or does that honor belong to Mesoraco?

It's Mes mainly because of his early struggles set his starting point so low to start the year.

If Mes wasnt around I'd probably give it to Sapp, with Joseph coming in 3rd.
