Cozart's error allows first and second with one out. Tying run to the plate.

Torreyes getting the hang of the Midwest League. Started off 1 for 17, but is now 5 for his last 7. A double and a triple so far in 3 ABs today.
Zero chance the Reds miss the playoffs!

Mudcats lose 3-2. This puts them 15 games back in the second half. The Mudcats were 12 games back at the end of the first half.

Bats will host dreaded Durham Wednesday @ 6:05. Reineke will likely get the start.

For those not watching or listening to todays game, the mascot, Buddy Bat, was tossed for hounding the umpires for a close call at first base. Pretty funny stuff.

Curtis Partch, whose middle name happens not to be Consistency, threw five scoreless innings in his start today for Lynchburg. After seven, the Hillcats have only two hits (Soto and Satterwhite), but lead 2-1.
