    With yesterday's win I bet they don't even try it. The team is in the driver's seat and they have a decent margin of error at this point. Get him healthy.

    The lineup is just very right-handed. I'd expect Carp to pitch around Votto.

    I think we win a good old-fashioned 2-0 game today where Hanigan knocks both runs in in the top of the 6th with a single up the middle.

    A win today can just about put the Cardinals away. A 9 game lead with about 25 left to play would be nearly impossible to overcome. Like the title of thread said, Let's go for the juggular!

    With our 3 LH OF's injured, not much choice.

    RH hitters have hit him better this year anyway.

    He has a FIP and xFIP close to 4, so carpenter isn't the dominate pitcher he's been in the past. Walks more than before, and gives up quite a few more HR's, especially to RH batters.

    But he's plenty good, and has been nails vs. us. Time to change all that.
