Let's hope the Brewers hold on against the Cards. This Rockies pitcher is rather tough, I'd say.

He got 4 outs, what do you want from him, 5 outs?

Good pitch. Helton strikes out swinging.

Fay just said Volquez is thru 5 innings. 1 hr allowed, 3 hits, 10 k's.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

The K was nice, but he gave up three hard hit balls in a row to start the game. That ball to Votto was a smash not a 3 hopper. I'm encouraged by the pitch to Helton.

Need to find that finish pitch again Aaron.

He has no problem getting ahead of guys, but continues to struggle putting them away.
