Janish must start the rest of the way. I was at the game yesterday and Cabrera is just woefully slow for a shortstop. So many of Janish's easy outs are singles because Cabrera just cant get there. This team is so much better with one of the best fielding SS in the league out there, as was evidenced by their torrid run when Ocab was injured.
I want Janish starting also, but my biggest reason now is that Janish bats 7th and 8th but Cabrera bats 2nd. I really really just dont like that LOW LOW LOW obp getting so many PA. It annoys me to no end.
NO Cabrera for playoffs. End of story. Janish spot starts from here on out.
I'm guessin' Dusty likes Cabrera's intangibles like leadership.
Can't we get that same leadership from him when he's in the dugout?
