    I had my daughter at 37. I'm not sure I would be wanting to start things a whole lot older though. Kids are great but they're not for everyone. They will completely change your life as you knew it.

    just to clarify, m 12 year old did NOT have a baby. she's 12.

    my 21 year old did.

    I have three kids between 29 and 20 but no grand kids, yet. No hurry though since no one has gotten married yet.

    Congratulations. With my oldest starting college this year, I don't like to think about how few years it could be before I have grandchildren. Your positive experience is reassuring.

    congrats, trf. i haven't posted on rz in ages, but i'm a new gram, twice over (19 mo. old girl and 1 year old boy) and it's a whole new reason to live, believe me! enjoy!
