    55 years ago (1955), the Reds swept a doubleheader at Crosley Field vs. the Dodgers--winning the opener 9-0, and the nightcap 5-3.

    Hard to believe its been 25 years. I watched this in my dorm lobby with a whole bunch of other college kids.Rose will never be my favorite human being but if I live to 100 years old he will always be favorite baseball player.
