Time to Rally behind The Rally Onion

I noticed Chip's sig this morning and saw he was looking to have 100 folks connected to the Rally Onion's Facebook page. I noticed it stands now at 95. Independent move on my part, but thought I'd start a thread and put it over here on "Non-Sports Chatter" to give everyone a chance to comment and we'll pretend it's more about Facebook than baseball.

The Rally Onion has been good to us this season, so lets be good to The Rally Onion.

"If the Rally Onion was a person, it would want to be Joey Votto."

    That deserves 100,000,000 fans alone

I realize I'm biased, but I do firmly give the Rally Onion superstitious credit for this season. At the time it was born, the Reds were a long shot among long shots. They had recently been swept by the Pirates and had gotten destroyed by the hapless Cubs hours before. Everything changed the minute it was found in a garbage can. We're all caught up in playoff fever now, but it's worth noting that at that time the playoffs were all but a dream.

    Long live that ridiculous onion.

Rally Onion is now up to 97 - lets aim higher. Magic number is going down, Rally Onion's # should be rising.

Did the thread that started the "rally onion" phenomenon get archived? If not, it needs to be.

I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

Should the game thread that VP discovered the Rally Onion be archived as well?

    *bump*

Not only does the Rally Onion help the Reds, but he/she/it also provides useful advice to everyday folks like you and me. Just yesterday, the Rally Onion advised me to change my furnace filters.
