What is the record for most pitches in one AB?

Ryal up to the 16th pitch of this AB....wow.

No way. Diomandbacks fans got a World Series winner in 4th year of existence. Let them come talk to us about attendance if they have seasons like this for the next 8 years.

The one guy caught a foul ball, went inside his suite and the guy that took his place outside caught the very next pitch

17 pitches... you can run, but you can't hide. Bray strikes out the side.

    To answer my own question...

"On August 12, 2010 Nick Swisher had a 32 pitch At-Bat against Bruce Chen of the Royals. After starting the At-Bat 0-2 Swisher battled and stayed 0-2 for another 10 pitches. He then worked the count to 3-2 now at 28 pitches. Then fouled off 3 more just before hitting a 2-Run home run to end this long At-Bat. Bruce Chen was then pulled from the game because he was at 93 pitches in the 4th inning."

I saw the Cards were losing 4-0. I saw Garcia was starting and my first thought was "well, those won't be earned runs of course". Yep. Only 2 earned. That kid has been unbelievably lucky in terms of his ERA this season. He's SOOOOOOO over-due for a crash landing.
