Really weird. Fact is, I live closer to a Charlotte address, (1/4 mile) than Waxhaw but have a Waxhaw zip code. Waxhaw is at least 12 miles from my home. I live right on the edge of Weddington, (1 mile) closer than Waxhaw. I live closer to the Village of Marvin which doesn't have a zip code, but does have and elementary school, a middle school, and a high school. When I tell people that I live in Waxhaw, they ask me where? When I tell them, they look at me and say, "You don't live in Waxhaw. What can I say? Maybe I should just go with "South Charlotte."Maybe CONFUSED IN NC. It is in NC, though.
