They might not know about the stiff neck situation.

I do. Neck spasms make for a very bad day. Ever since I pinched a nerve two years ago, it's been an on-again off-again struggle.
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.

    KKKKK

Middle of the 3rd. 5-3 Reds. I hope and pray that Maloney is out there to start the 4th.

I've got no symapathy for Baker or Price as far as the 3rd goes. Should have PH for him after watching him throw the 2nd. You've got 900 pitchers in the pen this month - use one of two.

Agree. Very annoying to see that lead shrink to two runs.

The Reds have a rested pen, most of the guys need some work anyway.

Yep. I'm not one for usually second guessing the manager...but it was blatantly obvious that there was something wrong with Homey. Why risk injury? That kind of discomfort is just enough for a pitcher to alter his release just a bit...and that is enough to cause an injury. Dumb move.

My concern isn't the score. Homer is a big part of this club's future. Injury risk isn't something to play with.

Yes. And I'm not even that worried about a loss. I just don't think you leave a pitcher out there that lon, when it is so obvious that he is struggling physically.

Apparently the delay in the outfield was over a banner protesting Arizona's immigration policy.

I'll repeat what others have said. The sooner the Reds clinch this playoff spot, the sooner they can rest a bunch of people.

I don't like playing around with these games. If Homer isn't healthy, just let the pen take over.

Now the DBacks lefty is starting to throw well. Reds are out.

Slow roller from Bloomquist...nearly beat it out. But nope. 1-2-3 down go the Reds.
