Started posting there when the Reds were talking about acquiring Griffey. Definitely remember the Mariner trolls who came over and flooded the board.

Whiffey is not your savior. Have a nice day.

Gallagher with some sort of number behind it with constant "Whiffey" references. A while before that, there were more entertaining trolls, such as Nuxie.

I wish Fastball.com were still around. IMO, a terrific site for someone that lives in another metro area, i.e., I could read/post about the Reds but easily jump to team pages like the Dodgers, Angels, Pads---all of whom have had interesting teams if you live in my area.

Good idea. Not sure what its' downfall was.

I was there but rarely posted. I can't even remember what my screen name was.

I guess I've forgotten that one, and there were several others I would like to forget.

Does anyone remember Richard Hand and his "Little Red Wagon" website? He was obnoxious...with a capital O. He could not respond to a thread without instigating an argument, and then he'd start pointing a cyber finger at others saying they were flaming him. I don't know if he was kicked off the board or just left because no one (and I mean no one) liked him. I think he once mentioned he lived in his mother's basement...which made me feel kind of sorry for him...until he picked another fight with me.

I always loved how he'd get mad at everyone and edit all of his posts leaving a single period. I always equated it to the little boy picking up his toys and going home because everyone was mean to him!

It's been so long... but wasn't he another invading mariners fan that waged war on us over Whiffey, err, Griffey?

I was not there, which is why it fell apart, I'm sure.

RH is officially my 1st Internet adversary, he taught me to check my numbers, and that is a good thing.
