Would probably be a good move for a young growing M's squad.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

With his .770 career OpS, he may want to consider being player-manager, as he qualify to bat 3rd or 4th on the M's lineup.

The Pirates interviewed Wedge early in their search.

That's low. Hilarious and spot on, but still low.

I always thought he did a good job with the Tribe. I thought the M's would go after a big name. Looks like they wanted to get some experience in place and stay out of the fight of getting a manager with all the other teams.
