Yorman now 2 for 12 with 1 HR for Magallanes in Venezuela's junior winter league.
Francisco must not have liked my last post. In his last 2 games he's gone 5 for 9. All singles, but it sure beats not hitting.
ESPN3.com is streaming Dominican league baseball. The Gigiantes (with Francisco) are supposed to be on tonight.
I just found it by accident.
They stream the Venezuelan league too.

Francisco took a strike and then went the other way for a single, just past the glove of the SS.
He is 8 for his last 14.
Make that 9 for 15
He singled again.
edit: He was HBP in his 3rd PA.
He then scored from 1B on a double down the RF line

He also picked up his 5th error of the season
He K'ed in his 5th PA
He swung through 2 strikes, took 2 balls way out of the zone and swung through a high borderline strike at 95 MPH.

Francisco went 2 for 5 in the 1st game of a double header yesterday. Both singles. Also had 2 Ks.
He didn't play in the 2nd game.
I haven't reported on Francisco for a while. He had several games off recently and has been hitting mildly since his return. No report on the reason for the missed games. I don't know if he had a slight injury or was just rested.
Today is the DWL All-Star Game. I haven't seen a roster but one would think Francisco made the team easily.
Over his last 4 games (since he has seemed to return to the everyday lineup) he has gone 0 for 4, 1 for 3, 1 for 4, and 1 for 5.

The DWL is over now. Francisco never played again since my previous post. The league ended on 12/21 and his last game was 12/10.
