    Votto interview from early September

Forgive if this has been posted, and ignore the horrible spelling. Votto is a pretty unique interview.

Thanks for posting that. I went to get my haircut a couple of weeks ago and I read that interview in TSN. I came home and tried to post it but it wasn't online.

Thanks for posting the article. Joey said a ton of great stuff but I really liked these comments. Team first!

SN: Who's the guy the Reds can't win without?

VOTTO: You know what? I refuse to say there is a guy. We've gone through stretches where we've won without me, where we've won without Brandon, where we've won without Scott. I genuinely think this is a really good, solid, consistent team. Now if we're missing two parts, we're in trouble. But you could argue Drew Stubbs is a guy in the lineup we need to be successful. Or our catchers. Or Jay Bruce or even Jonny Gomes. That's the thing I like about our team- we're very well spread out.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
