Good point. Considering that swing, you're probably right.

He's certainly been horrible stealing bags this season, that's for sure.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

It may just be me, but it seems like BP gets thrown out nearly every time he goes. That should not happen to a guy with his speed and experience.

...It could have been a hit-and-run, though. Although, I still stand by my comment.

His speed isn't what it used to be IMO

The Astros may have 2 runs & 4 hits, but for the most part they've been seeing eye hits. Edinson's POUNDING the zone. 25 strikes...SIX balls.

Probably not. Not with 2 strikes. I'm sure just trying to stay out of the traditional DP. Rodriguez looked tough that inning unfortunately.

Brandon was 15/26 coming into the game.

If about 42% is "nearly every time", you are correct.

    Kepp walks.

That's ALL on me for mentioning the low number of balls thrown.

Agh. Not to Jeff Keppinger, Volkie. Gotta challenge that dude.

BB means 1 on, no out for Pence.

Well, I knew it wasn't every time... I use hyperbole liberally.

And THAT's what I'm talking about. Sit down, Hunter Pence.
