    6/19- Reds @ Mariners

    From Fay:

Ramon Hernandez was OK to play after batting practice.

    Orlanod Cabrera 6

    Brandon Phillips 4

    Joey Votto 3

    Scott Rolen 5

    Jonny Gomes DH,

    Jay Bruce 9,

    Laynce Nix 7

    Ramon hernandez 2

    Drew Stubbs 8

    Sam LeCure P

vs. RHP Felix Hernandez (4-5, 3.61)
I got PBP, at least to start out.

I had a feeling there would be a lineup change after last night but I'm bummed Heisey isn't getting another chance tonight. I guess Laynce needs some PAs but I hope Dusty will give Heisey another game or two during this trip through the AL while he has a chance to get some extra players in the game. Glad to see Ramon is all right to play tonight.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Nix had an impressive bp. Hopefully he's in the groove tonight.

Nix is always impressive in BP. Strong guy who kills the straight ball.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

That ball would have been an easy HR at home.

No wonder pitchers do well in Safeco. I don't know if Joey could have hit that ball any harder.

Yep. I haven't yet joined the "park effects" debate, but the fact that that wasn't a homer just ain't fair.

I want Safeco to be transplanted to Cincinnati. Our pitching staff would be jumping for joy, especially Harang, LOL

This ballpark is death valley. Both of those balls had the look of a dinger 3/4 of their flight...and then just died
