Better to be no hit in the play-offs than sitting home watching the Cardinals or the Cubs play.

This team likes to have a mat to get off of. Seems now they have one. Get 'em Friday.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

First post-season game in 15 years for the Reds....and the guy throws a no-hitter against you.

Unreal. And that final at bat by Phillips was horrendous.

And only 1 for the 2nd one and 1 for the 3rd, so at least the Reds will play - or at least be on the field, as playing requires actual effort - for 3 games before the season ends

There it is. No hitter for Halladay as Phillips grounds out in front of the plate.

Great game by Halladay. Simply stunning.

I love my Reds, but you've got to give props on a no-hitter.

Seriously... I am very interested in seeing what these Reds bring out for Game 2. The jitters will be long gone, and I mean, pride alone should give them a boost. The kids are growing up, learning... it's a process. I still like this young team, mostly built through the system. With a couple of key vets peppered around for flavor. And something tells me I won't have to wait another 15 years to see them in the playoffs again. It'll be OK...

now it will be even sweeter when the Reds win this series.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I'm going to go drown my sorrows and re-watch the 2005 AFC Divisional game.
