On the Colin Blowhard show, not only did Blowhard discount them (he likes the Yankees because "sports needs dynasties"), he had some guests who "drafted" the teams in order of likelihood of winning the whole thing. The Reds were 8th of 8. Like the last kid, the fat kid picked on the playground.
USA Today's cover story on ace pitchers and their importance in the playoffs...no mention of the Reds.
We're the under-under-underdog boys. And I kind of like it that way.
