seems like Roy is getting the strike calls on the corners that Volquez wasn't getting

As punishment for this performance Rolen should take a clippers to EV's head.

It's October, Holladay is pitching, he has a 4-0 lead in the 3rd, it's over. Pitch whoever, and save Wood.

Halladay is 16-1 when the Phillies score 4 or more runs.

Roy is going to get those calls...what is surprising about that?

Thats a tough question honestly. Its a lot of heartache to get blasted out of the playoffs. I went through this with the Colts the past 8 years. The further you go, the harder a loss is to take

We are playing probably the best overall team right now in baseball. They have been built to win and have done so the past 4+ seasons and all they did this year was add to stud pitchers. We are a young team learning how to win, give it time, it will happen and just enjoy that we are playing in Oct in the playoffs.
You are unclear as to why people are upset? Amazing.

For a time when he can come in and shut them down in a game we have a chance to win. If he goes 5-6 innings in game 1 he is done.

    Save Wood for what?

exactly. If Wood pitches well here, and the Reds manage to get to a Game 4, he can still start that game.

we all expected this when we started this series...some of the wild antic red fans are coming out in full anger, as for me? I am going to stay calm during this playoff series, if we lose it we lose it, if we win I will be dandy but, this is just a baseball game, life is more important than a ballgame, like my mother right now...she has had a heart cath this week, and she has heart trouble and not doing very well...
