Reds aren't yet a World Series team.

Be happy they are in the playoffs and don't fret too much over this.

Walt should continue to build the team and they will soon be able to go deep in the playoffs.
While I agree with you in theory, the Reds have found a way to embarrass themselves enough to warrant no pass for being young or inexperienced.

Was thinking the same thing. They should be able to at least get some motivation for next year out of this, if it ends this series.

It looked like Utley was hit by that pitch just now. Better take your base.

You can't piss away opportunities like this. We don't get these chances very often. To think that all we had to do was not hit three batters and make 4 errors tonight and we would be 1-1 heading back to Cincinnati is maddening.

Hey, there here and I'm happy, for this year. Just bummed at the way it happened (giving it away). If it stands, a bitter pill. No one feels worse than the guys though.

The thing about Bruce's lost flyball is he has clearly been battling the lights all series. Everytime a ball goes to him he is struggling.

They mentioned Mike Cameron losing a flyball there a couple years ago in the playoffs and Carlos Gonzalez too.

Tell that to the Cubs and D-Backs. Playoffs, never the less World Series teams, are never a given.

The same could be said about a number of the comments in this thread.

Uh, the Reds have given this game away and collapsed in epic fashion. I think gloom and doom is appropriate.

I'm not into handing out participation awards.

    Frustrating? Yeah.

Maddening? It shouldn't be. The Reds have exceeded everyones expectations this season.

It has happened 3 straight years in Philly in the postseason.
