Well boys and girls...it was disappointing to say the least, but come on....let's hear it for your Cincinnati Reds. Great year, and a fun, fun ride. I can't wait for next season to start.

    Agreed.

Again.. I was saying they weren't good since Sep at all. I literally edited it right after I noticed that I wrote quickly without thinking.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

What a horrible series. This team cannot handle the spotlight. Haven't played well in big games all year. Thank God this series is over. I think we would have lost 25 out of 25 games to these guys. I sure don't want to see anymore of this.

I'll say it because no one else will, but the Phillies are so good, that no one was going to beat them. They come in with those 3 hammers and you just don't have a chance. It was a magical season, but we faced a team with hammers. Our pitching was suburb but there was simply overpowering. They didn't hit us much and if not for a ball in the lights and a phantom HBP, we'd be playing tomorrow. But we're not. This is a good team and I cry because it's over but can't wait for Spring Training.

    Yup.

I really hope this leaves a really, REALLY bitter taste in their collective mouths and they come back dying to get rid of it next season!

It's like an hour and 45 minutes of a really, really entertaining movie that finished with 15 minutes of, "what?"

Roy Oswalt wasn't exactly a hammer. I like the way the Reds hit against him this year. It was that other boneheaded stuff that killed us in the game that he pitched.

It's hard to not have a great respect and appreciation for Roy Halladay, ditto for Cole Hammels.

    Game 2 was the backbreaker.

It was a fun year though. October was interesting for the first time in a long time for me.

It'll have no effect on next season. They'll spend the off season spending their money and they'll start over again next yr
