So we play Atlanta, than what? We somehow don't play Philly? Philly is a monster. Period. NYY and Philly will be a good World Series.

The prize is H2O or Lincecum/Cain/Sanchez.

    Awesome.

    LOL.

Closers don't pitch this many innings.

What about the 20-30 games prior to playing the Phillies? The bats have had holes in them for about 3-4 weeks.

2 out of 3 games, you simply say "give them credit" as though the Reds had no opportunity to change the game's outcome.
Hey I want to win every bit as much as you do.

Just sayin' the Phillies won more games than any team in the league, they are getting paid too and they are trying to win just as hard as the Reds are.

Now, let's get some base runners and score some runs.

Yeah, I thought of that earlier today while watching the Giants/Braves. I don't think the Reds score 4 runs in 3 games against those three.

We match up just fine with Atlanta. I'd rather make it to the NLCS and lose than get bounced out of the first round.

And a NYY-PHI World Series will make me puke. It's like watching Bill Gates and Warren Buffet play Monopoly.

If there's any consolation, the Reds should be heavily favored to win the NL Central next season. The rest of the division isn't sitting pretty, unlike us.

How many earned runs have we've given up in this series?

    6?

Eh. I don't really care how they lose in the playoffs. Getting bounced from the NLDS or NLCS doesn't make too much of a difference to me. Once in the playoffs, it's pretty much World Series or bust for me.

    Hopefully.

The Pujols situation may determine The Cardinals relevance. Milwaukee may lose Fielder, and they need pitching. The Cubs, ha!

But Houston may be a contender. We'll find out if they're for real or if they were just having the proverbial dead cat bounce.

Can we please just get a couple people on? Give me a reason to get nervous at least.
