Uncle needs to put one in the LF stands right about now.
That hit was plenty fair. Atleast by a quarter of an inch.

These guys are all afraid to bunt for a hit. Drives me nuts.

Yep, clearly outside. But when you're dominating like Hamels is right now...you're gonna get those calls.

And with that, Stubbs k's to end the inning. 1 more chance boys. Walk off 3 run dinger anybody? :O)
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Stubbs needs to play some winter ball and work on his contact issues...

Wouldn't surprise if Phillips does it on the first pitch next inning.

I wonder if Hamels will get to complete his domination of the Reds or if Lidge will be given a chance to choke.

This series has made me feel like I'm in AA.

    Game 1: Helplessness
    Game 2: Frustration
    Game 3: Acceptance.

I'll be interested to see whether the Phillies let Hamels start the 9th. Phillips is the only guy that's had some good cuts against him all day. It will be interesting to see if they start with Lidge or let Hamels go.

We got no hit in game 1.

    I'll never get over that.
